@LibraryDunn "is the school's STC and while that is a huge job, she has figured out how to enlist student help and create leaders out of even our youngest ones. She formed a league of students, 2 from each classroom - even kindergarten."

@LibraryDunn "is also the teacher sponsor of Dunn's STLP.... With her guidance, students are building a website & are creating a Sensory Room for @dunn_jcps. The STLP team researched usefulness of Sensory Rooms & which items are most beneficial. They [raised] $5,000."

"Adding books reflective of our current student population is a task that Erin takes seriously.

When she is able to add new books... she strives to select picture books with multicultural characters and chapter books that were written by or about minority populations."

"Even though Erin is one of the most tech-savvy people I know, she schedules story time everyday with Kindergarteners.

She's so animated when she reads that students can't help but be engaged with the words on the page."
