The level of privilege and ignorance you must have to protest the things that are keeping us safe. You wanna talk about freedom? Where were was your outrage when disabled people were having DNRs forced on us? #londonprotest#COVIDIOTS#gohome
Funny how the people screaming about the loss of freedom and being locked up were silent when disabled people were basically just told to sit in our houses for a year with no help. How uncaring they were when 6 in 10 covid deaths were disabled people
Loss of freedom is still being afraid to leave the house because you know how many people have stopped taking this seriously, if they were at all. So stfu whinging because you have to wear a mask and stop being so selfish

I'm done with being told that the biggest fucking priority in this pandemic is "getting back to normal" when nothing is being done to save disabled people
It appears that I have chosen violence 😂
Why is "please think about more vulnerable people instead of yourselves during a pandemic that is killing the most vulnerable" such a controversial statement?
Back in January one of my disabled pals made the difficult choice to quit her degree because her university wouldn't allow her to study from home. Then, two months later she watched the accommodations made so easily for thousands of others when lockdown happened.
The reason I'm freelance is because I was repeatedly told I couldn't do a typically office based job from home and now everyone's at home and nobody wants to commission me to write about the ableism involved 🙄
