The upside of TWTR is when you actually can engage in real conversations. I had just that experience today with @MichelleUgenti who has represented me and her other constituents in the AZ House then Senate since 2011.

Senator Ugenti-Rita has been a strong advocate of conservative policy over the years. I was happy to see her actively fighting for election integrity and pushing bills for improving the electoral process in Arizona, something she's been focused on far before Nov 3 2020.

As a voter I was confused by the failure of the Senate to pass her legislation SR1485 regarding cleaning up the permanent early voting rolls here in AZ. We've voted by mail for a long time in AZ, but when are the rolls ever updated? It seems...never.

I’d listened to an interview with @AZKellyT on her reason for voting against the bill, which according to her, was because it actually wouldn’t clean the rolls before the next 2 election cycles. So, I asked about it:

She shared with me her thoughts on SB1485, something she’s been fighting for since her time in the AZ House. As a constituent, its disappointing but sadly not unexpected to hear how little support she’s received from the other Republican Senators in this effort.

Specifically, AZ Senate President @KarenKFann has never met with @MichelleUgenti regarding strategy for election reform bills. In fact, the Republican Caucus still has no strategy regarding these issues despite the voters loudly and consistently voicing the importance!

While the world is focused on #AZAudit currently, what kind of platform will AZ Republicans have to run on in ’22 if they are avoiding addressing the single largest issues regarding election integrity with their voters right now?

I’m reassured that my AZ Senator @MichelleUgenti understands that not only is professionally conducting the #AZAudit critical, but actual meaningful election reforms and tangible results must happen. As she DM'd me “Lip service is not enough”
I agree. I'm not alone.

In further discussion some additional insight: This year @KarenKFann fast tracked bills increasing unemployment benefits, million$ in tax credits for Intel & to give Dbacks ownership a new tax district & rights to operate sports books. Are these conservative voters priorities?

So give my Senator @MichelleUgenti a follow and some support to fight for election integrity, regulatory reforms, spending cuts, and shrinking the size of Govt!
We need to help amplify the voice of the Good Guys!/
