This profound quote depicts the VP abuser of a mega para-church ministry. I worked under this narcissistic VP for 5+ yrs. It was hell and it ended with him abusing a number of us in a urban ministry. Gaslighting was 100% in his DNA for nearly everything he did or said.

His spiritual, emotional, psychological abuses; along with his harassment of a staff woman and his constant pattern of threats & secrecy made it impossible to trust him and the complicit leaders over him—who knew what he was doing. The abuses led to PTSD (hospitalization & years

of counseling); to a staff woman harassed who was not allowed any outside legal counsel; to a Black couple who experienced discrimination, racism & physical threats; to entire leadership team who resigned over his leadership. But what makes it worst is the lead HR person covered

for him; the US National Director (now the president of the world wide org) protected him as they are great friends—total cover up & being complicit. Then the BOD did nothing but protect their golden boy! You wonder why people leave the faith but when you experience this and all

it’s cover up and then slapping on NDA’s suffocating our voices & stories it makes this org totally disqualified. Only if donors knew? They take in $633 million/yearly and if the story could be told the monies would dry up. But when your the big guy (org) you have all your

lawyers, PR firms. NDA’s, leadership covering for other leaders abuses it becomes nearly impossible to break thru to have the media tell the true story of this org and the history of broken lives that served as missionaries!! So yes gaslighting is real and underneath it all

IS ABUSE, DECEPTION, CONTROL AND BLATANT SIN! Grateful that a few friends have stood up on Twitter like @vhobbs5 to do their own investigation. But we need a army more to expose the biggest para-church org in the USA & likely the world!

They must be exposed for who they are. @DianeLangberg told me “that they(org and leadership) are a brood of vipers” How very, very TRUE!
