I was confronted by a person recently, "just break the NDA & get on with it". Not that easy! Some of us who are missionaries do not have a boatload of monies to hire attorney's & once you have been abused (resulting in PTSD) one will fight or flight. I am a fighter but when your

up against a $633/million dollar supposed Christian org; that has multiple attorney's working for them; have a Religious Order that muffles the voices of ALL present staff in the org; & leadership from the President and & BOD who will not do a 3rd party independent investigation

it is devastating, it can totally wear you out, it affects your health, mental health, spiritual health, and the list goes on & on. The recent letter I got from the Pres (that protects the VP) stated clearly in his letter to me they will not agree to any of these '5 demands':

1. Release us from the NDA & release the other couple (wife was harassed by VP) from theirs NDA as well. The other couple wishes to remain anonymous at this time. But we know there are many others abused, but silence & being complicit is built into the culture of the org.

2. We ask that the abusers, BOD, and those complicit with knowledge of the abuses confess, apologize, and repent of their actions. The same for the attorney of the org and leaders who mishandled the pain and losses caused both privately & publicly to all who were abused

3. Make financial amends in a meaningful way to all who were abused which would include full disclosure of the limitations of the religious order for current and prospective staff members, and financial settlement to all those deemed abused or traumatized.

4. Hire an independent third-party investigative team to examine and evaluate the organization’s culture and behaviors. This would include investigating staff members and former staff members who have experienced abuse & trauma within the org during the past 10-15 years.

4 continued: We are aware that @netgrace_org or @GuidepostGlobal do these types of investigations. The findings should go to the BOD, to the staff abused and to the public.

5. That the BOD of the org, hires @R_Denhollander, an attorney and advocate, to serve as a consultant and liaison for all abused survivors within the org or who have left the org but were abused during their years on the org staff.

These 5 things I am asking the org that so freely allowed so many of us to be abused. Your article today helped me greatly to read your concerns--thank you @CasMadeHerRoll
