Apple, the US Chamber of Commerce (and other groups) are lobbying the swamp (both Ds and Rs) against a bill that would crack down on China’s forced labor.
Apple, in particular, paid lobbyists who used to work for Lindsey Graham and Richard Burr, and also paid another lobbying shop founded by Heather Podesta.
Who else, in particular, lobbied against this bill?

Here they are, on the membership page, along with other well-know global corporations like Goldman Sachs, Google, Apple, J&J, GM, Facebook, Nike, Starbucks, Wells Fargo, BOA, Citi, HSBC, JP Morgan, McKinsey, Walmart, Siemen’s, and other familiar corps.
The Biden admin revoked the policy that requires the federal government to get consent from states and local governments for federal “land acquisitions.”
Rick Grenell is also starting an advocacy group, called "Fix California," to focus on issues and voter registration, similar to what Stacey Abrams did, but for the right.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo just announced that he's joining Fox News. While I'd like to hear what he says, it'll have to be through clips online since I stopped watching Faux News long ago.
This is all very sketchy. Democrat Mayor of North Las Vegas, John Lee, announced that he's switching to Republican because socialists took over leadership of the Nevada Democrat party.
Sounds good, right? But...there's some f'ery afoot behind the scenes.
It's not like people haven't switched parties before, which is all well and good, but what is their main motivation for switching? And what else is going on that we should know about?
There’s a possible issue here but hard to tell what the real story is, though I’m suspicious. Is this why he’s switching over?
