Every Indian, cutting across party affiliations, need to ask this Qn to @deanbaquet as to why deceased Indians don’t deserve same dignity that these 576,183 men/women citizens of America were accorded to by @nytimes ?
Dear @deanbaquet this is US Covid deaths data until 25th April - in last 7 days alone, around 4K Americans have died of Covid across 50 states - why don’t three deaths warrant your same attention as Indian deaths- unarguably much lower than yours in every sense!
Dear @deanbaquet - 53,082 Americans have died due to COVID in the state, your paper is named after. Last week, that state saw 403 deaths due to Covid despite your president @JoeBiden claims abt vaccinations - so how many of those deads feature in front page of @nytimes ?
And @gettleman do u have anything to reply to this thread - can u point me to NYT front page showing burials of any of those 576,183 Americans who have died due to Covid until 25th April 2021? If they deserve dignity, why not Indians?
