As plenty of people have already noticed - Apple chose to revert most of iOS 14.5 beta mitigations. It still fixed some vulns and hardened some things, but nothing as comprehensive as the last beta.
What I think happened is that they had to release 14.5 because of the #AppleEvent and their beta versions were just not stable enough, so they went with something that would be good enough, postponing the new mitigations for 14.6
I haven't checked the final, but things definitely did get reverted on RC which seems to be the same final version. I didn't mention that during the RC because I didn't wanna provoke anyone ;) but seems like this was deliberate so...
