Delhi High Court begins hearing the petitions relating to various issues arising due to rise of #COVID19 cases in the national capital.
Senior Advocate Rahul Mehra, appearing for Delhi Govt, tells High Court that 20 MT (Oxygen) is kept with us as buffer to answer SOS calls, it will be in tanker in liquid form.
During the hearing, the Court expressed helplessness, when a lawyer told the court about the condition of his relative and demanded an ICU bed as soon as possible, the court said that we have sympathy with you at the moment, "what should we do if hospital doesn't have ICU beds".
Counsel appearing for that hospital tells the court that hospital is trying its best to shift that patient to ICU. But currently, we (the hospital) don't have even one ICU bed in the hospital.
