According to him, LASG cannot deny the fact that the population, topography and geography of Lagos makes it vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change, stressing that right mitigation and adaptation actions would make the State become resilient to the climatic hazards.

Speaking on the effects of COVID-19 and climate change, the Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi, said there has been an increase in human population all over the world which has affected the environment and the movement of pathogens from their natural hosts to human beings.
