Somehow half of my Twitter feed is debating if Democrats have become "too woke" & other half is noting how Republicans just make stuff up about Democrats: if these two groups talk to each other they would realize Republicans have done amazing job lying about Democratic priorities
Democratic priorities: expand healthcare, secure voting rights, clean infrastructure, build robust social saftey net for American families, pay with debt & taxing the rich. All super popular & necessary as we address health & economic fallout from COVID-19.
Mainstream Media & Republicans try to paint Democrats as prioritizing identity politics, but reality is that devoid of meaningful policy, it is the Republicans who are obsessed with identity politics: white identity politics.
Actual Democratic leaders get that while diversity & inclusion are core values, they make tricky policy priorities, which is why Democrats are not the ones selling identity politics.

@Mike_Pence When Donny Trump sent a violent mob to try to assassinate you (which fortunately failed in their mission), in order to block the transfer of power to duly the Democratic president, effectively ending the republic, was that "cancel culture"?
Just kidding, I already know that "cancel culture" is when Republicans institute targeting tax hikes on companies that say things they don't like. Right?
Sorry, I think I got it now: "cancel culture" is when Republicans try to defund entire schools because a teacher uses a curriculum that asserts that slavery was bad and still has repercussions?
If India is admitting this many deaths per day, hard to fathom how bad it is really is there.
Some of my right-wing followers are confused why we would spend money to give India relief: it is called soft-power. For relatively little money, we gain the respect, thanks, and preferred trade status of massive & growing country. It is way more cost-effective than more bombers.
Schools were closed under Republican Trump and then opened under Democrat Biden. Also (even though it will have massive long-lasting effects) voters will not be thinking about this by the next election.
Republicans spent 4 years reveling in suffering & death of Democrats, but I totally believe their concern about bipartisanship is sincere.
Lots of complaining about Democratic policy in general terms nothing on Republican policy. Makes sense because, when explained, Democratic policy is super popular and, of course, Republicans don't have any policy to lay out to US.
It is really amazing how lucky, ungrateful, selfish baby boomers are as a generation.
Boomers complain about younger generations getting participation trophies & not "adulting", but they are ones that got cheap housing, cheap education, lifetime jobs w/ pensions: the real participations trophies! Then they let our infrastructure & meager social saftey net crumble.
Younger generations saddled with student debt, endless cycles of boom & bust, endless war & terror, they want to adult but cannot afford it! Children born in 1980's first decade to have less real income than parents (on average).
