PRESS RELEASE: Lindsey Boylan Issues Statement of Support for Jean Kim. Full Release Here >>> mailchi.mp/7fc17c8ed6cf/0…
For more inclusive reading, the text of my statement is threaded here:

I believe Jean Kim and applaud her courage in coming forward today. Women are not the tools of selfish, powerful men. And we will remake the culture so that is clear. (2/5)
New York Democrats must build a better world from our ranks and hold our own accountable. That means Scott Stringer must resign as comptroller and drop out of the race for New York City mayor. (3/5)
I identify with Jean’s fear that her career could have been sabotaged had she come forward earlier, and I am disgusted by the Stringer campaign’s gaslighting response. (4/5)
I am sending my love to all survivors, whether they have come forward or not, who may feel triggered by today’s news. (5/5)

Today, we stopped by Grace St. Coffee & Dessert (thank you Serena Wang!), learned more about their small biz, and got to eat some great donuts & desserts. Check them out!

🧵 Empowering discussion with @NowNassau last night on ending the toxic culture of sexual harassment. Thank you so much for having me! 👀 the clips in this thread for highlights. (1/5)
There is no future for women that's equal if we don't end destructive, toxic harassment and abuse of power on many levels. (2/5)
To end that culture, we first must name it. But it's not easy for survivors to speak up and release what happened to us. (3/5)

This should be a bigger story than it is already.
Have folks lost their collective sense of outrage with this guy because all the crimes?

He used govt resources to write a self-congratulatory book as he oversaw decision-making that killed 15k Nee Yorkers.

I hope his victims and their families get all his blood money.
As a reminder @NYGovCuomo delayed shelter in place because it had been suggested by his enemy @NYCMayor.

Many lives would have been saved if he hadn’t delayed because of ego.

This man is rotten to the core. It’s not about helping NYC. It’s about exerting his will to benefit himself and his benefactors.

The amount of money sunken into Midtown West purely based around his whims and without local engagement is criminal. nydailynews.com/news/politics/…
His posture vis-à-vis regional transit whether we speak of Amtrak or New Jersey Transit is a great example of what a dangerous criminal @NYGovCuomo is. He will literally build entire structures to say “screw you” to other power players that he cannot control.
He always had the worst ideas about transit motivated by the worst impulses.

If he appears to have a good idea it’s because he has taken the credit from someone else and probably destroyed them in the process out of spite alone for being smarter than he is.

The most outrageous thing is how you’ve acted in response @CarlHeastie
I am not your tool. Do not use me to abdicate for your lack of leadership here. Do better. Be better.
In case you are someone who needs to be brought up to speed about @CarlHeastie reaction to pervasive sexual harassment by our governor - he worries these allegations could fall on him too and that’s informing his response.
