Gov. Cooper has called for a special prosecutor. That’s good.

But we also need to repeal the parts of H972 that limit access to bodycam footage.
I was one of two Senators to vote against that bill because of situations like this.
That law stacks the deck against public access. And pushing away the public doesn’t solve anything.
