"Sunrise"

Ex-Korean Pohang-class HQ-18 of Vietnam People Navy operating around Spratly Islands. The silhouette of the ship reveals its turrets: one OTO Melara (76mm x 1), one Sea Vulcan (20mm x6) and one Nobong (40mm x 2).

With more colors 😁
Here is a neat detail: Compared to HQ-20 and other Pohang-class vessels, the weapon loadout of HQ-18 is "odd".

For some reason, the Navy removed the rear OTO Melara, took out the two triple torpedo launchers and exchanged the front Nobong for a Sea Vulcan.
HQ-20 retains its standard loadout.

"One shell coming up"

Tank crews of 22nd Brigade, 4th Corps of Vietnam People Army loading an OF-412 shell in the firing phase of Good Tank Crew.

From this angle, we have a good view of the top-mounted DShK, coaxial SGMT, L-2 "Luna" infrared spotlight and OU-3 IR searchlight.
On a side note: See these hooks? The designer put them there to carry OPVT snorkel. However, in Vietnam, armor units never receive the snorkel so the hooks don't see any use.

"Manoeuvring"

Interesting footage of DN2000-class KN-491 of Vietnam Fisheries Resources Surveillance putting its bow thruster to work as it leaves the dock. Thanks to the bow thruster, KN-491 could turn without relying on its main propulsion.
Being one of the most capable assets of VFRS, KN-491 is responsible for quite a few tasks from patrolling Vietnam's EEZ to bringing delegations to Vietnam-occupied features in Spratly Islands.
On a side note: Like many other DN2000-class vessels, a helipad and a hangar take up the rear of KN-491 but at the moment, no helicopter accompanies it during its missions.

"A clash of steel"

Tank crews of Vietnam People Army participating in Good Tank Crew. The competition consists of traditional drills and localized categories of Tank Biathlon, Army Game (Russia).
In Good Tank Crew, the contestants compete on T-54/55 and PT-76. While T-54M and T-90SK/SK show up, they don't get to do anything. Still, their presence suggests that compared to the last decade, the Army is a bit more open about its assets nowadays.

Old Wars: Colorized (Updated periodically)

Colored pictures of wars that Vietnam participates in the past from the Indochina War to the Sino-Vietnam War.

A sizeable number of pictures come from Tri Minh Duong but if others produce them, I will leave credit in the caption.
