Shameful confession. Whenever I read or see Bill Barr, I Have to sing at least two stanzas of this song replacing Dilbar with his name. Please forgive me, goddess @thesushmitasen 😂😂😂
Also that song 👆 underlines how most of Sanjay Kapoor's Bollywood career was as background. Such a contrast from his brother who is always so busy on screen
When he did earnestly try to contribute some dancing movements, people started googling how to airbrush him out of this video because his clumsy moves distract from Madhuri.
His whole career was such a nepotism flex even by Bollywood standards. 😂
Like Madhuri is dancing a gorgeous sonnet there and Sanjay bhai is cranking out a VCR manual.

Heh, some new employees of the Poonawalla IT cell haven't gotten the memo that their senior propagandists have already tried to flood mentions over this tweet. And are hate QTing this again! 😊😊 Hello, engagement numbers hike!
Told ya! Streisand Effect thanks to the Poonawalla IT cell. From August 2020 till today, 55K impressions. In just one hour since then, 9K more. By trying to troll me into submission, they're making my prophecy even more well known. 🤣🤣 Who is their social media agency? 🤣🤣
Btw this whole Tarboozya meme for ex-CM and current converter-of-oxygen-into-CO2 Devendra फडव्या Fadnavis is an epic social media win by anti-sangh folks in Maharashtra.
Along with BJP Maharashtra chief Chandrakant चंपा Patil.
Marathi IT cell is so busy countering those. 🤣🤣
The way BJP was able to turn Rahul Gandhi into a pappu meme that he's never quite recovered from, I see Tarboozya and Champa going in the same direction.
Champa is especially hilarious. Very maharashtra scale Streisand effect type. Became big only once Patil whined about it. 🤣🤣
Bombay and Karachi are marine twin cities separated at partition.
I feel this intensely when Bombay child Rupal hangs out with her bestie Asiya, originally from Karachi. Their 23 yr old friendship is like straight out of an American desi movie. Both moved to the US in pre teens. Assigned to same college dorm room in Cali. Such everlasting love!
In their chats and reminiscences, I realize how much they mean to each other. As recently unmoored young adults trying to find some permanence. And to find it with a friend who you're conditioned to think of as "the enemy"! Their very first year together was the Kargil War!
One random non-movement Modi has thankfully squashed forever is the ridiculous "Make Bombay a Union Territory". I first asked one such SoBo uncle in teenage years, yes yes, I get your point, but then why not make Greater Bombay a separate state? Why Union Territory?
He didn't really have an answer. He said Union Territory status gives us more independence like Delhi. And I said no, Union Territory status would make us governed out of Delhi like Delhi. Why not statehood for Bombay, New Bombay, Thane together if you have to dream anyway?
Years later, right after the devastating 2005 bombay flood (which I lived through in Kalina 😳), at a bloggers meet, the "UT status for Bombay" thing became a talking point again. And I said, what if there's a nasty modi type person as PM? Lol can you imagine people said.
It's nice to be acknowledged for this. I should add that it's taken years of conscious un-training, and listening to women's criticism while struggling to keep that snapping male ego down. I used to be very much IIM GD type dominate-the-discourse-decisively guy in early days.
In Spaces, I always mute myself when I'm not speaking, because I don't want even an involuntary utterance to interrupt someone. A principle I follow in Zoom teaching too. Going even "right..... right...." every few seconds doesn't work like face to face. It disrupts thoughts.
Spaces I host, I urge people to only speak one at a time and mute themselves when not speaking. If someone interrupts, I DM them to please not do it again.
And when I'm made speaker and done speaking, I ask to be removed if someone else wants to speak.
Sir, have some shame. What is your age and what stunts are you doing? What 89 year old (his age then) does these sorts of things? Do you have any idea how bad this makes the rest of us look?
Seriously though, what a life!
The scene is from here. At least in the US, it is free. There's a Smithsonian Channel roku app too where all their content is for free.
This is one of my favorite scenes. The Beauty Salons of the reefs. I loved how Manta Rays literally form a queue to get exfoliated by the cleaner fish. Like cars outside a car wash. 🤣🤣
