R3volver Rani putting out some really desperate #factcheckbait today. She knows oxygen production won't affect the environment. She is counting on your ridicule and fact check to draw fire away from leaders. Resist. It's blatant baiting counting on your need to call her dumb.
She only stays relevant because of the QTs and screenshots. Cut off that oxygen to her twitter account and see her fade away.

Next time I land at an Indian airport and go to the washroom, I'm fully expecting to need an OTP to relieve myself.
Whatsapp university is so starved of things to celebrate under Modi that they are sending random long forwards extolling the technological achievement that is an OTP based system for getting vaccines. A vaccine everyone has to get, they are treating like a bank login. 😑😑
The fascist needs to keep boasting about his leader in newer reverential terms everyday to internally justify being a fascist. It is fundamental to the mindset of the fascist, for fascist governments don't actually do anything good. So the daily praise dose is necessary.

U.P. can easily be re-taken next year. Don't blame the voters there. U.P. is still majority non-sanghi by a big margin. It's first-past-the-post that keeps it in the BJP column. It's really up to U.P. non fascist leaders not voters.
If Sena, NCP, Congress can come together to keep Fadvya out, really, U.P. leaders, don't repeat the blunders of 2017.
And especially after this cruel horror show of the second surge! Kanpur sounds very Mad Max right now. And he's going around arresting people instead of saving their lives. Wasting resources on walls to hide mass cremations.

Hello folks. In exactly 3 hours, starting 12 noon NYC/ 930 pm IST, I will be doing a Spaces on "Cooking (and Eating!) Tips for a Desi Immigrant in United States." 😋😋

The way BJP was able to turn Rahul Gandhi into a pappu meme that he's never quite recovered from, I see Tarboozya and Champa going in the same direction.

Bombay and Karachi are marine twin cities separated at partition.
I feel this intensely when Bombay child Rupal hangs out with her bestie Asiya, originally from Karachi. Their 23 yr old friendship is like straight out of an American desi movie. Both moved to the US in pre teens. Assigned to same college dorm room in Cali. Such everlasting love!
In their chats and reminiscences, I realize how much they mean to each other. As recently unmoored young adults trying to find some permanence. And to find it with a friend who you're conditioned to think of as "the enemy"! Their very first year together was the Kargil War!
