What a horrible crime

Those protestors should be arrested for blocking traffic and prosecuted as soon as possible
Imagine a world where protestors didn't block traffic to get their way because they knew they would have the book thrown at them
Also I bet the guy holding the "Abolish the Police" sign didn't hesitate to file a police report
If someone falsely imprisons you (by surrounding you in your car) you can use reasonable force in self defense to resist their aggression

He didn't SLAM the accelerator and run them over, no one died, he used reasonable force to stop the restraint

This is America, you have the right to disagree!

You don't have the right to block traffic and surround someone's car

Not hard

Don’t hire anyone with pronouns in their bio

You’ll thank me later
It’s such a good leading indicator for intolerant, insufferable wokeism

As well as an inability to keep that stuff out of the workplace

Listening to @AlanDersh on CourtTV

He just predicted that any conviction in the Chauvin trial will ultimately be reversed by the Supreme Court, based on the behavior of public officials and the failure to sequester the jury from the outset
Dershowitz says what should have happened

1) Should have been postponed after the civil settlement with the city

2) Should have been moved out of Minneapolis

3) Jury should have been sequestered from outset

4) Alternatively, the judge's instruction should have been stronger
Dershowitz suggests that there was not just a thumb, but an "elbow on the scale of justice"

Idea: deport Canadian neoconservatives
They aren't sending their best
Amazing that he wasn't deported over his Iraq War advocacy

A clear oversight that should be corrected ASAP

Everyone aggrieved by the notion that we have Anglo-Saxon traditions worth preserving should yell at the Supreme Court for continuing to cure Blackstone

Where do you guys think the common law come from
Hi folks, a brief introduction to history: not all values and institutions are universal, some come from particular cultural traditions
Then again it makes sense that the same historically illiterate neocons like @RepKinzinger who think we can just install democracy in Afghanistan are the ones appalled by the suggestion that our traditions are rooted in any particular culture

Unless I'm missing something - I think Dr. Tobin just testified to the exact thing Judge Cahill instructed the prosecution NOT TO EVEN MENTION

We might be looking at a mistrial
Ok - objection sustained, but apparently no mistrial
And they've moved on

They got VERY close to a mistrial right there
