On Saturday, May 1, the #CityofTO will proclaim May 1-7 Youth Week in Toronto – a week to celebrate youth engagement and showcase the abilities and talents of youth. This year, all events will take place virtually.

Today, Mayor @JohnTory announced the #CityofTO and vaccination partners have now administered at least a first dose of vaccine to 40 per cent of eligible Torontonians.

As easily transmitted #COVID19 variants of concern spread quickly throughout Toronto and the GTA, outbreaks are increasingly linked to workplaces, where the virus can spread through close contact between workers.
To reduce this significant risk to the city’s health, @TOPublicHealth will issue a Section 22 order for workplaces. This Order is a necessary tool to break the chains of transmission within Toronto workplaces where #COVID19 is determined to be spreading.
