Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Has been more muddled than the depiction of this character.
I have heard different things from Wyatt from Kari and from Malcolm about where we’re supposed to land with this guy and above all else I think they really underestimated just how ugly and shocking it would be to see Steve’s shield used as a cudgel and blood dripping from it.
Wyatt is REALLY great in this part but based on the interview he gave me on #StillWatching last week he thought he was in a completely different show? I’m sorry I think #FATWS is the clumsiest thing Marvel has done in a good long while and I look forward the Loki palate cleanser.
And the biggest mystery to me is that John’s arc is the one the show feels most interested in. It’s not his show! It shouldn’t be his show!

I saw an incredible pitch on TikTok for a Mamma Mia-esque jukebox musical with the plot of this song and all the best Chicks jams woven in and it was incredible and I hope they do it and pay that girl a lot of money.

I think Gaiman (one of my favorite authors) might be almost entirely unadaptable. Coraline is a solid exception. But I thought only the Aziraphale/Crowley parts of Good Omens (my favorite book) worked. American Gods was something I was really pulling for. What a mess.
Sandman? I have very few hopes.
There are some fun actors in the Sandman cast but there have been fun actors in all these casts. And the choice for Dream (an actor who has all of the look and none of the personality) is BAFFLING.

Did anyone else have to come up with nicknames for the copy paste Bridgerton brothers in order to tell them apart?
No no definitely not me and definitely one of them wasn’t “high hair.”
Back in early December when @hijean let me know the Bridgerton kids are named in alphabetical/chronological order I lost my MIND.

I’m seeing WILDLY incorrect “news” reports based on out-of-context quotes from #TCA19 panels. Be wary of people writing up news who weren’t in the room and maybe be wary even of people who were in the room? I dunno. No shade but maybe stick to the outlets who brung you.
Two inaccurate inferences-written-as-news I’ve seen just this morning.
A) His Dark Materials will be ONLY two seasons. That’s not what they said. They said they shot the first two seasons back to back.
B) Robert Redford will act in Watchmen. Listen he MAY! That would be fun....
...but for right now he’s just on a poster and mentioned a lot (as the president in this alt-universe). I wouldn’t be totally surprised if he shows up but that’s not what the panel said.
