April's come & gone & I forgot to retweet my favorite NYT story dated April 1, 1939 about a huge shipment of gold shipped from either Nazi Germany or England secretly unloaded at a NYC pier less than five months after Kristallnacht....

..I first came across the story more than a decade ago & I've since posted about it on Twitter several times in hope one of the historians here could tell me more about it...
..Me again, trying to generate interest in the secret shipment of gold story...

@DerWouter Read the DOJ tax evasion case filed against Roger & Nydia Stone yesterday & have some comments. One, Roger Stone can't claim he's being persecuted by the Biden DOJ since we already knew the IRS was actively looking into his case in Nov 2020....
...Russell Harris, the mortgagee for the condo Roger & Nydia Stone purchased, is name as a party to the suit since he has an interest in the property to the tune of a $393k balloon mortgage w no fixed payment schedule...
...Russell D Harris owns more than one property in Broward County & elsewhere in S FL but, as memory serves me, the properties were transferred from Robert C Harris & Russell hadn't entered into any other agreements similar to the one w the Stones...

@ThomasS4217 Hang on. Samuel Armes worked w Greenberg to set up a bitcoin operation in the Seminole Tax Office. Per sunbiz.org, Armes is now partners w Jason Holloway in BITACTION PAC, LLC. Holloway apparently is a candidate for FL office.....

@DerWouter @StacyJannis Missed the details of the Dec '20 sale of 4 Indian Creek Road, reportedly to Jared & Ivanka. Julio Iglesias sold it to Top Line Ventures Limited via Cabana Love L.L.C. but Top Line's address is in c/o MDR Mayfair in DUBAI....
...The Real Deal reported the terms of the sale of 4 Indian Creek Road in Dec '20. Since no one else apparently finds the arrangement odd. I guess the deal is legit....

If Cy Vance wants to, I'm sure he could put additional pressure on Trump Org employees to cooperate. Eg on her '17 OGE report, Lynne Patton declared a substantial portion of her income in '16 was derived from the use of Trump facilities which I doubt was taxed...
...Screenshot of Lynne Patton's OGE report. Part of her $106k income from Trump Org came from golf memberships etc. The fact that her income was only $106k including the employee bennies is a telltale sign of her real status in the company....
...Admittedly, I was angry that Lynne Patton, a self-acknowledged lifelong cocaine addict & chronic liar, held an important position at HUD overseeing billions of dollars of federal spending....
