My mask solution earlier in pandemic was a mask brace to optimize my fit. Have since switched to N95s to optimize filtration (respirator material meets higher testing standards) and function (N95 easier to put on, more comfortable, more breathable).

I also tested a clearly ill-fitting KN95 respirator to see how it compared to surgical mask. Fit factor of 8 without modification (12.5% leakage), 12 with ear saver to tighten ear loops (8% leakage). Optimized fit with mask brace.
