The group of people buying homes do “have the money” this time but they have the money because the federal reserve electronically printed it in a very compressed span of time. And now vast tranches are sitting in accounts and it’s not moving. So more is printed. And prices go up.

And banks can now use much of what had been “off limits” before for sweeps, part of why money stocks have gone through the roof. So every night they can use all of this new cash to spin more money ad infinitum. Anyways this last happened in Zimbabwe and 1930s Germany.

But the argument is that since US dollar is the global reserve currency it’s different, & the USA can theoretically keep printing all the money it wants since it controls the global economy. But it’s in the expiration zone now and according to history that means war then new GRC
