How To Protect Your #Bitcoin & #altcoins

(1) EXCHANGES
-Access Exchanges by a Private page only
( Incognito mode )
-Always use a VPN. The VPN will anonymize your connection and encrypt it end-to-end protecting you from sniffing.

Use a unique email address and password for each Exchange, a strong password would look something like this Gh&%D$tyue34Op0A!FyF6GT^%dE$u&gii*R
-Exchange passwords should be changed twice a year minimum.
-2FA - Activate Google 2FA on all Exchanges
( Do NOT use SMS 2FA )

Do NOT keep your 2FA on your every-day phone! 2FA should ONLY be kept on a spare or cheap phone, encrypt it, activate wifi and download Google 2FA. From there NEVER connect it to the internet again ( Remove SIM)
-Book mark all exchange links.

Do not use public Wi-Fi / hotspots.
-The Brave browser is currently the safest browser for trading.

(2) ANTI-VIRUS

· Personally i use Trend Micro.
· Anti-virus is not optional! regardless of your device.

(3) COMMON SENSE

-Do NOT give out ANY personal security details to emails or telephone calls requesting such information.
-Do NOT send Bitcoin or any Altcoin to anyone claiming to send you more back in return or claiming they will trade on your behalf.

Before sending a Crypto transaction always check the first and last characters of the address before sending.

(4) DATA
Keep passwords and private keys somewhere safe, either paper or stored on encrypted USB sticks is best. Have multiple backs up.
