5. The Congress will be the third largest party in the new assembly far ahead of all other regional parties and after the two major Dravidian parties!!
6. The Congress has not been doing well in assembly polls in recent elections and usually do well more in Lok Sabha polls but this time they have beaten that trend and did very well in assembly too winning 2/3rds seats almost it contested!!!
