1st ODÙDUWÀ: Odùduwà was the Ooni of Ile-Ife.
According to tradition,he was the holder of the title of Ile-Ife.

His name,phonetically written by Yorùbá language-speakers as Odùduwà and sometimes contracted
As Ooduwa,Oduduwa or Oòdua.

Oduduwa,Olofin Adimula,was the first Ooni with the title "Olofin".

The origin and existence of the Yorùbá race can be traced to Oduduwa.

He was the progenitor of kings in Yorùbá land and first Ooni of Ile-Ife.
He is considered to be the founder of Yorùbá race,a great Yorùbá ancestor and hero.

According to some traditionalist, Oduduwa and his father Lamurudu, migrated from the ancient city of mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Some historians also claims that Oduduwa and
His father came from the east,Arabia,Benin, Southern Sudan,Egpty or Ethiopia.

Lamurudu was an important prince in his land.

When his position as a pagan was threatened by the arrival of Islam, Lamurudu decided to take his family to a new land.
However,he was not able to finish the journey, which was where Oduduwa stepped up.

When he brought his family to present day Ile-Ife.

He conquered the people who lived there before and became the first Ooni(ruler) of Ile-Ife.
This signified the start of the Yorùbá dynasty and empire.

Some historians claims that he was a Benin scroundrel called Ekaladerhan.

Some traditionalist insisted that Oduduwa descended from the sky and landed in Ile-Ife.

He was sent by Olódùmaré
(the supreme creator) to finish the mission of his brother Obatala, king of whites clothes.

The latter was sent to earth to create land but got drunk from the palm-wine he made himself from the newly grown palms.

Thus, Oduduwa took over the mission and
Completed the mission.

Although some historians claims that Lamurudu isn't the father of Oduduwa.

But the father of the black race,La-Mu-Ru-Du means that he bring forth the black type.
2ND OSANGANGAN OBAMAKIN: Osangangan Obamakin was the 2nd Ooni of Ife.

He succeeded Oduduwa and was succeded by his son,Ooni Ogun.

He was a powerful Ooni,the quarters of Osangangan still exit today in Ile-Ife with the aboriginal kith and kin
Still holding principal roles in the affairs of Ile-Ife with other aborigines.

3RD OGUN:

Ooni Ogun was the 3rd Ooni of Ife,he succeeded his Ooni Osangangan Obamakin.

And he was succeded by Obalufon Ogbogbodirin.
4TH OBALUFON OGBOGBODIRIN:

Was the 4th Ooni of Ile-Ife and the oldest king of the ancient Ile-Ife.

The king spent almost a century on the throne and reigned between 8th-9th century.

He was transfigured into a metal figure and became a diety.
That signifies the spiritual long reign of Ooni.

He succeeded Ooni Ogun and was succeeded by his son,Ooni Alayemore.
5TH OBALUFON Alayemore:

Was the 5th Ooni of Ife,a paramount traditional ruler of Ile-Ife.

The ancestral home of the Yorùbás. He succeeded his father Obalufon Ogbogbodirin and was succeeded by Ooni Oranmiyan.
6TH ORANMIYAN:

Was the sixth Ooni of Ife and the first Aláàfin of Oyo.

The son of the seven sons of Okanbi, the only child of Oduduwa.

Oranmiyan, the source of Benin Empire, source (see Nigerian national Archiver:Oyo prof 1,file 33,24th may 1916).

Oranmiyan Omulabi Odede,the famous and unequated Yorùbá prince and warrior.

Was the only Yorùbá royal enigma to have ruled over Benin kingdom founded and became the very first Aláàfin of Oyo.
And later became the sixth Ooni of Ife.

Oranmiyan was two-tone in complexion;half his body was light skinned while the other was ebony-black(like Oduduwa).

Due to this,he was given the name Oranmiyan (Oran ni omo ni yan, which means the child has chosen
To be controversial).

Sàngó Olukoso akata yeri yeri was the second son of Oranmiyan.

Oranmiyan was a strong enigmatic leader,who led his people into a path of greatness.

Ooni Lajamisan,who was the 8th Ooni of Ile-Ife,was the son of Oranmiyan.
Ooni Lajamisan, the son of Oranmiyan was also the father of Ooni Lajodoogun, the 9th Ooni of Ile-Ife.

Following the death of Oranmiyan,his father erected the memorial stele known as the staff of Oranmiyan (Opa Oranmiyan).
At the place where their grandfather died.

It currently stands in a grove in Mopa, Ile-Ife.

Ooni Oranmiyan was the first oba of Benin, first Aláàfin of Oyo and father of Osile of Oke-Ona Egba.
