Benefits of chanting Aigiri Nandini Stotram or other Stotram !!

You can chant it at anytime of the day.There are no restrictions.Just do it when you feel like it,when you feel you are calm,composed,focused,and have the time to chant it uninterrupted

Benefits of chanting the Mahishasura Mardini stotra, or any other stotram for that matter, are of five kinds:

1. Warding off evils, like evil people, etc. from life, warding off troubles, tribulations, humiliations, misfortune, disasters to the maximum extent,

warding off ill health, warding off bad luck, and being safe and protected.

2. Rectifying the mind, heart and intellect from its errors, avoiding bad and stupid and foolish decisions, removing bad thoughts, removing depression, anxiety, fear, anger, negativity, etc.

Instead, having the power of taking proper decisions, being good, pure, holy, intelligent, sharp, wise, bold, courageous, victorious, peaceful, loving, beautiful, friendly and right. The ability to wisely and productively invest time and effort only in useful,

meaningful and profitable things, and plan life properly for the present and the future.

3. The ability, strength, balance and calmness to withstand and boldly face the unavoidably painful or challenging circumstances, and not getting overpowered by them.

The ability and insight to be ready for such circumstances and not be panicking and shocked. The ability to peacefully accept whatever that happens as her decision. To have complete, unshakeable and absolute faith, devotion and belief in her under good and bad situations.

4. To have the constant kindness, grace, guidance and protection of the Devi to bring only good, fortunate, auspicious things and people into life. To have Her kindness, grace and protection in both good and bad situations.

Rising above the petty dualities of life,like pain and pleasure, happiness and sorrow,success and failure, profit and loss, etc,and to abide in Her peacefully, undisturbed and happily,no matter what happens. To be permanently absorbed into her, and rising above life and death.

To be able to laugh at all the positive and negative of life as a game and be free of them which is Moksha.
