Being worry is not a bad thing though. It means someone needs to be more careful to do something properly, but being over worry, then being overwhelmed by, and finally being enslaved by it is a whole different story.
But I understand how it feels, though, because this world is crazy enough. There are tons of reasons that could drive men to become anxious. And on top of it the oppression from the devil himself (not so surprise because this world is under His rule, Eph. 2:2).
That worry which has turned into anxiety could kill someone, spiritually, mentally, and later on physically.
Without Jesus, probably I would be insane, or the worse (to the extent to harm myself). I will be a mess up without Him. I think I am capable to do that without Jesus.
Either I will perish or I will be a total evil but in disguise (while I am still living), there's no in-between. Because there's nothing good out of me apart from God (Mark 10:18). Thank God, I have Him. Thank God, He saved me. Thank God, I have His Spirit in me. I am grateful.
I wrote this while I also still facing struggles right now. But that's okay. Both believers and unbelievers face struggles (not to mention how believers must face persecution because of faith in Jesus). The difference is, those struggles have a Divine Purpose for us, His Bride.
It will be our badges, diamonds that will decorate our crowns, and bring glory to God, both on earth and heaven, as long as we stay faithful.
Don't be your own god, because you don't know everything and don't know the future let alone your future. Trust Him. Surrender your life
to Him, to Jesus.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. He will. But only if you have first put your faith in Jesus.
While gazing at stars with that app in my little-zero-
light-pollution-backyard, I am still amazed by His finger-made.
"God, You are wonderful, You are awesome!".
Ah, thanks to that app now I can spot and memorize some constellations besides Orion on the night sky, like Gemini, Vela, and Canis Minor. They are beautiful.
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge. #storytimethreads
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
