As people are sharing what they were doing as a 21 year old, here is a story I would like to share. I might never have shared this but for the shameless defence of violence, insurrection and treachery, crookedly citing compassion for youthfulness.
A classmate of mine was weak in studies. Would sometimes fail in all subjects. Had a tough childhood. From Std V onwards, he and his elder brother would sell ice water on cart (oldies will remember those steel carts) infront of a cinema hall for 25p per glass.
While asking for money, he would sometimes even get slapped by people barking "saale paani ke paise maangega". His elder brother, a sweet and shy boy, still in school, was killed in a rivalry by a local goon to "teach a lesson" to his father.

How does it matter that how many on which side died in the aftermath? What matters is who started the violence? Who orchestrated and planned it? How sick one has to be to ignore the primary motive and then keep a tab as to how many died on each side?
From Bhagalpur to Mumbai, Gujarat to Muzaffarnagar and Meerut to Kokrajhar, seculars completely ignore the fact that all rioting starts only and only from one community. There get worried only when more numbers of that community get killed in retaliatory violence.
The underlying cunningness is clear. The fact that minority starts every single riot should not be spoken about. To them the immorality in the whole thing is only the retaliatory violence. In their scheme of things Hindus should simply roll over and die.

All that this girl did was respond to Islamist threat that Hindus shouldnt complain if Muslims become terrorist to avenge Tabrez Ansari. She asked why only Muslims think of becoming terrorists? Why dont Hindus, including the ethnically cleansed KPs think of becoming terrorists?
A case was registered against this student by a Muslim from her locality. The defiant girl, an undergrad student, has however refused to comply with the offensive order. She said "today I am being asked to distribute Quran, tomorrow I might be asked to do Namaz or embrace Islam"

Hello @RahulGandhi have some shame. Divangat Surendra was a village sarpanch from your former constituency. He spent almost all his life as a Gandhi loyalist. Nobody is accusing you of complicity in his murder. But by refusing to condemn the killing what signal are you sending?
