We know we need to be organizing and building power year-round. That’s why we’re investing $20 million in states before the general election begins to ensure Democrats win in 2021 and 2022—our earliest and largest midterm investment ever. With this investment, we're:
Protecting the right to vote: Across the country, the GOP is attacking the right to vote. So we’re launching our biggest voter protection program ever. We’re embedding experts in critical states and expanding existing programs like IWillVote.com and our voter hotline.
Modernizing the organizing process: We have more than 200,000 active online volunteers ready to mobilize—and that number will continue to grow. We’re expanding our digital organizing infrastructure, and deploying these volunteers in 2021 elections and early voter reengagement.
Investing in local talent: We’re expanding on the local talent pipelines started last cycle—building at the entry-level and moving diverse, local talent up to develop the next generation of campaign leadership. Organizers know their communities best, and we’re taking their lead.
