You don't have a right to Facebook's server space.
Seizing the means of production won't end the way you want them to.
Facebook doesn't have our support.

Facebook's rights, and every other company's rights, do.

These are perfectly consistent viewpoints.

We simp for property rights.

There is nothing stopping you from starting that platform.

Parler didn't have any right to AWS server space.

There is nothing stopping Parler from buying server racks and hosting it themselves.

You have no free speech rights on another person's property.

If you invite someone over, and they say something you don't like, you can kick them out. Even if you have a really big home with a lot of people in it.

Cool, expect us over for dinner since you deposited that stimulus check!

It needs to be at least a 5 course meal

Saying that Facebook has no competition is like saying that Ford has no competition because no one else can make Fords.

They got big because they supplied the market with what the market wanted. And they took advantage of government, can you blame them?

If government was controlling who Social Media was banning, that would be absolutely a 1st Amendment violation.

But there is no evidence of this.

Facebook has every right to not host speech they don't want to.

It doesn't matter how many government subsidies they get, or how big they are, or if other social media companies did the same thing.

Government should never force companies to host speech.

Ever.
Section 230 protects everyone, social media companies and their users, from being sued for what someone else said.

That's exactly as it should be.

Not for the purposes of what speech they allow on their website.

If the Colorado cake baker was subsidized with Covid relief, you wouldn't say he now has to bake the cake.

Immigration is a human right.
What about a person's property right to sell to whoever they want to? Like an immigrant?

And doesn't that immigrant now have rights to that property?
Immigrants come here and lower crime rates. So technically our borders are keeping crime rates higher than they would be

We are on to round 2 of the Most Libertarian President Ever Bracket!

Here are the current standings:
Round one went as expected. The biggest winner was Warren Harding, though that was probably more a reflection on Biden than on Harding!

Check out the full round 1 results here (note: tie goes to higher seed)

Round 2: In your opinion, which President was more libertarian?

Alright! March Madness Brackets are around the corner, anyone want to do a bracket of who you think the most libertarian President was?

RT to get as many votes as possible!
Seeding is done with the Siena College Research Institute's poll of historians, political scientists and presidential scholars.

Feel free to poke fun at their rankings! scri.siena.edu/wp-content/upl…
Here is the Full Bracket, as you can see, there will be quite a few presidents that will be skipped in the first round. But enough talking, lets get voting! Image
