"Since there is a public health emergency, let the matter be taken by the Delhi High Court on May 10," Siddharth Luthra, lawyer submitted to Supreme Court bench,
Supreme Court in its order requested Delhi High Court to consider prayer & pass orders on the issue.
SC also said that as per Luthra, (lawyer for the petitioner) the matter involves extreme urgency & disposed of Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by petitioner,Anya Malhotra.

DCGI has granted permission for emergency use of therapeutic application of drug 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) as adjunct therapy in moderate to severe COVID-19 patients. Being a generic molecule & analogue of glucose, it can be easily produced & made available in plenty: DRDO
The drug has been developed by DRDO lab Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences in collaboration with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Clinical trial have shown that this molecule helps in faster recovery of hospitalized patients & reduces supplemental oxygen dependence: DRDO
Higher proportion of patients treated with 2-DG showed RT-PCR negative conversion in COVID patients. In efficacy trends, the patients treated with 2-DG showed faster symptomatic cure than Standard of Care (SoC) on various endpoints: DRDO
If we get adequate vaccine doses, we can complete vaccination within 3 months. There're 1.5 crore people above 18 years of age in Delhi so we need 3 crore doses. Out of this, Delhi Govt has got only 40 lakh doses so far. We need 2.6 crores more doses: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

Y'day, 429 oxygen concentrators were seized & 4 persons arrested. During probe, the 4 arrested persons revealed that O2 concentrators are stored at few restaurants in Khan Market. During a raid, 9 more O2 concentrators were recovered from Town Hall & 96 from Khan Chacha:DCP South
Delhi | Total 524 oxygen concentrators recovered, till now. This equipment was being sold for as much as Rs 71,000. One Navneet and one other person owns these restaurants. Navneet is currently absconding. he will be called for probe: DCP South - Delhi
Delhi Govt informs Delhi High Court that it is grateful for suggestions given by court and Amicus Curiae and they are taking in a proactive manner.
