Before today's job numbers are released, Republicans would like to remind you that we lost nearly 3 million jobs under Trump, making it easier for US to gain jobs under his successor Biden: not sure if that is quite the positive disclaimer for Republicans they think it is.
Wow, these job numbers are super disappointing! 266k would be great in normal times, but everyone was expecting way higher.
Clearly Biden's stimulus was not too much as more job losses than expected have turned permanent. This is a further case for the massive infrastructure bill which means: clean infrastructure, investment in our future, and (clearly pressing) Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.
We are still down over 8 million jobs since start of COVID-19: we do not have a labor shortage. Image
Clearly, as many are pointing out, we need childcare options for many people (especially many women) to be able to work fulltime.

I welcome robust discussions about @RepLizCheney's policies: I disagree with her on almost every substantive issue. And, I agree that it *should* not be seen as heroic for US representative to be pro-republic. But, fact is Cheney will lose all her power by backing US over Trump.
There is nothing wrong with simultaneously applauding @RepLizCheney's fortitude in protecting the republic from existential threat of MAGA, and also disliking every other policy positions she hold. Actually that is good thing: a functioning republic needs *loyal* opposition.
The way this is supposed to work: First, we all agree that US should be a republic. Then, we debate over our conflicting policies with the knowledge that we are all pro-republic. Republican leadership now is all anti-republic, except for Cheney. And that is not easy for her.

*Thrilled* that after long career using his incredible skills *dude is amazing at marketing politics* @FrankLuntz trying to do something good, rather than evil. But he should provide more accountability for what he did to US, really work to make it better, before we embrace him.
.@FrankLuntz (1) key behind @newtgingrich "Contract with America" which really ushered him era of Republicans having no policy other than tax cuts for rich & empty slogans (2) mastermind behind denying science to fight R&D to combat climate change ...
.@FrankLuntz (3) convinced Republicans to just fight anything Obama did, during grave recession, reasoning slow recovery is good for Republicans (4) branded ObamaCare as government takeover of healthcare, denying millions desperately needed Medicaid expansion

@Mike_Pence When Donny Trump sent a violent mob to try to assassinate you (which fortunately failed in their mission), in order to block the transfer of power to duly the Democratic president, effectively ending the republic, was that "cancel culture"?
Just kidding, I already know that "cancel culture" is when Republicans institute targeting tax hikes on companies that say things they don't like. Right?
Sorry, I think I got it now: "cancel culture" is when Republicans try to defund entire schools because a teacher uses a curriculum that asserts that slavery was bad and still has repercussions?

I really hope that was the first of a fleet of planes.
If India is admitting this many deaths per day, hard to fathom how bad it is really is there.
Some of my right-wing followers are confused why we would spend money to give India relief: it is called soft-power. For relatively little money, we gain the respect, thanks, and preferred trade status of massive & growing country. It is way more cost-effective than more bombers.

Schools were closed under Republican Trump and then opened under Democrat Biden. Also (even though it will have massive long-lasting effects) voters will not be thinking about this by the next election.
Republicans spent 4 years reveling in suffering & death of Democrats, but I totally believe their concern about bipartisanship is sincere.
Lots of complaining about Democratic policy in general terms nothing on Republican policy. Makes sense because, when explained, Democratic policy is super popular and, of course, Republicans don't have any policy to lay out to US.
