Your reign is truly impactful, Kwara Gov greets Olofa on 11th anniversary
 
@followKWSG Governor @RealAARahman has congratulated the Olofa of Offa Oba Muhammed Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye II) on the 11th anniversary of his ascending the throne of his forefathers,
describing his reign as positively impactful for the Offa community and commending his commitment to peace and development.
In a statement on Sunday, the Governor described the monarch as a charismatic and generous leader whose ascension to the throne has strengthened his community in all facets of human capital development and global reach.
“On behalf of the government and people of Kwara State, I felicitate His Royal Majesty on this milestone of his illustrious reign.
As a monarch, he has done a lot to unite his people behind a common agenda of development, and Offa is evidently greater today under his royal leadership.
I also congratulate all the sons and daughters of the kingdom on this occasion while urging them to continue to walk with his Royal Majesty in his bid to serve the community and preserve the great legacies of his forebears,” according to the statement.
“I pray the Almighty Allah to grant the Olofa longer years on the stool of his forefathers in good health, while urging His Royal Majesty to continue to work for peaceful coexistence in Offa and in Kwara State as a whole as there is no viable alternative to peace.”

In a statement issued in Ilorin, the state capital, the Governor said: “On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I send my heartfelt condolences to the Chief Imam and the entire family on this very sad news.
It is one tragedy too many, but we are consoled by the inevitability of death, the decree of Allah who gives and takes life, and the obligation for believers to submit to His Will under whatever shades.

Kwara govt organises Youth Fair to grow entrepreneurs

In a bid to showcase the entrepreneurial skills of youth in the state, the @followKWSG is set to organise the first-ever youth fair for businesses founded by young persons in the state. Image
The 2-Day event, which focuses on product exhibition, talent display and business pitch, aims to connect youths running various businesses across the state together with buyers and potential investors.
While slots for two hundred businesses are available for exhibition, various organizations and companies are being invited to interact with business owners for possible investment and partnership.

Kwara govt reclaims Ile Arugbo land as court strikes out Saraki’s case
Kwara State Government on Tuesday got a legal green light to proceed with building on the controversial Ile Arugbo land in Ilorin, with the court striking out the Bukola Saraki’s case challenging government’s take over of the land.
Justice Abiodun Adewara of the Ilorin High Court struck out the Saraki’s case for “lack of diligent prosecution.”
