The EU can’t even distribute a vaccine properly but they’re going to *checks notes* invent a new quantum computer and capture 20% of global semiconductor market by 2030?
Maybe the EU should figure out how to get jabs in arms and then we can talk about quantum computers

EU announces the "Lisbon Strategy" with the aim of becoming "the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world" by 2010.
Everyone agreed it was a failure.
I don't see why this time will be different unless the EU radically changes course.
