Deconstructing CRT Tenets as advocated by a CRT proponent:
The Whoopsie! Collection

I have taken each of several tenets, debunked them, and flagged the debunking with
"Whoopsie!"

Here, I bring them together.

The great thing about the (mostly) rightwing full court press on CRT is that it has motivated some advocates to articulate a defense thereby flushing out just how bad its key ideas are.

Interregnum! Not THE END. I will add to this periodically. But adieu for now.

There is now a fairly amusing discussion of Jewish Pirates appearing on my Tw Feed. I thread some of those replies here.

Consider signing:
"...freedom is among the essential tools by which American minorities...have made progress in advancing the causes of equality and justice.

Today...an ideology is taking hold...that insists...those who disagree must be silenced."

Jewish Institute for Liberal Values is new. This open letter is for anyone who values bedrock protections of individual human rights. Personally, I'd *especially* value nonJewish signatories -- united front against rising authoritarianism. Check out the signatories...

American Psychology Association moves towards having "positionality statements" appear on its "scientific" peer reviewed publications.
apa.org/pubs/authors/e…

What, you ask, is a "Positionality Statement"?
Its right out of CRT/intersectionality/GS/AppliedPoMo:
1/n
Actually, the statement on the left *could hypothetically* be used to reveal political biases for which there is far more evidence than "identity biases" (worldviews).

But the emphasis is on identity.
Who wants to take me up on this bet:

APA won't include political/ideological affiliations, "positions" or identities as part of "positionality" statements anytime in the next 2 years.

Stakes: An embarrassing pinned tweet declaring the loser to be a clueless ax-grinding fool.

Brilliant, brutal critique/exposé of Modern LeftWing Authoritarian takeover at Georgetown with echoes of The Suicide of the Liberals, No Enemies to the Left&Dictatorship of the Small Minority

1st let me intro the author:
Lama Abu Odeh, a Palestinian American law prof at Georgetown. She has worked at the World Bank (@april_harding, you know her?) and as a UN elections observer.

Not exactly a White Supremacist fascist-apologist.
Ready? Here we go:
"an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s Law Center, was forced to resign because she was caught on video saying to her colleague and co-teacher David Batson" that a lot of the lower performing students in her classes were Black.

@PostAp0calyptik @Impatient_Brian @AurelianofRome @CharlesNegy Glad you are not personally worried. "As bad as ppl think on Tw it is" is pretty vague (what people? who thinks what?). So shall we deal w/actual facts?
Well over 100 faculty punished or threatened, some fired.

@PostAp0calyptik @Impatient_Brian @AurelianofRome @CharlesNegy I've written about a few. Kit Parker, Harvard researcher and community activist beloved by the actual community (but not woke Harvard student mobs).
@PostAp0calyptik @Impatient_Brian @AurelianofRome @CharlesNegy David Shor, fired for tw'ing a peer reviewed sociology article showing peaceful protests won more support than violent ones. Summer 2020, on left, it was verboten to refer to any social justice effort as "violent."

White Women & Black P's report being disrespected MORE when asked if they were disrespected BECAUSE of discrim than if asked how often they were disrespected.

This is logically impossible.
Thread, 1/n
Why is it impossible? See if you can figure it out (ans next tweet). Here are the key results. Left: Higher *reported* disrespect for both groups under "generic instructions" (no mention of discrim). Right: The questions that were asked.
Its impossible, because a subset cannot possibly be larger than the overall set.
