Actually @RepLizCheney is set to be a a former House Republican Conference Chair and a former U.S. Representative for the state of Wyoming, and, just like Jeff Flake and Mitt Romney, has become irrelevant.

“Cheney set to be face of anti-Trump GOP” thehill.com/homenews/house…
“We must not be complicit in the former president’s lies,” Cheney said today in a statement to The Hill.

“Our oath to the Constitution imposes a duty to defend the foundations of our Republic from his unprecedented and ongoing assault.”
“Sen. Lindsey Graham today warned that if Republicans dismiss Trump, ‘half the people will leave.’

It’s not so much “dismissing” Trump, it’s failing to build on what he started.

Republicans focused on attacking Trump need to step aside. Or they can stay until they’re voted out
“In a private meeting on Wednesday morning, Republicans will take the unprecedented step of voting to oust Cheney as conference chairwoman, the same post her father held when he served in the House decades earlier.
The vote will cap a tumultuous five-month stretch for the younger Cheney, who shocked the political world in January by announcing she would vote to impeach Trump for inciting the insurrection on Jan. 6 —
— something Cheney called the greatest ‘betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.’”
Cheney MUST be removed for creating & fostering division in the party to focus on her Trump hate, while ignoring the leftist systemic shredding & destruction of the Constitution, the economy, our justice system, our culture, relationships w/our allies...
... their system of determining reward or punishment, success or failure & defining justice - based solely on skin color & agenda, pushing propaganda in our schools, actively stunting the minds & bodies of our children, illegal/endless COVID orders, etc.
She’s unable to recognize, or doesn’t care (because of #TDS tantrums & her work stagnating the party) that our borders & sovereignty are disappearing, that our country’s future is in peril & that we desperately need a unified party to fight to save our country. NOT to fight Trump

Wow. I thought she was actually calling out the Democrats.

"Every one of us who has sworn the oath must act to prevent the unraveling of our democracy. This is not about policy. This is not about partisanship. This is about our duty as Americans.” cnn.it/3y70bi6
“Remaining silent and ignoring the lie emboldens the liar," Cheney said. "I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former President's crusade to undermine our democracy."
“Cheney argued on the floor that Trump's lies about the election have misled millions of Americas, undermining the democratic process and threatening more violence beyond January 6.”

Hey, it’s May, Liz. When are you predicting this “violence” to happen?

The CDC is greatly exaggerating the risk of outdoor COVID-19 transmission.

The agency's disease advice is seen as increasingly irrelevant by more Americans.

reason.com/2021/05/11/cdc… via @reason
“Case in point: On April 27, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky grudgingly acknowledged that fully vaccinated people could gather outdoors and conduct outdoor activities without wearing a mask.
Wakensky cited increasing data that a person is much more likely to get infected with COVID-19 through close extended contacts indoors.

D.C. jail treatment of Capitol riot defendants draws bipartisan outrage justthenews.com/government/loc… via @JustTheNews
“A short drive from the U.S. Capitol, 1,500 inmates are stuck in their jail cells 22 hours a day.

Until last month it was 23, and they were also barred from going outside.

A smaller group of inmates may have it even worse: those awaiting trial for alleged crimes in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

They've been placed in "restrictive housing," a maximum-security designation.
