into the NYState budget. (social justice orgs are organizing around IONY as a 'tax the rich" campaign, which it is. Others like saying it's a 'progressive tax' campaign, because we are indeed progressing towards more just practices, in this case towards a more just economy...

Previously on Soup...
It has come to our attention that certain individuals have been deeply disturbed by the perceived proximity of soup to feet. This is an optical illusion. My soup remained at a safe 5-8 inch distance from these mysterious feet. Kathryn and I believe in safe foot soup distances.

This is nuts! Please share with everyone who knows anyone in Colorado. We’ve seen these tactics before in states like Georgia & Alabama. A ban on abortion later in pregnancy is a step to banning abortion outright. Coloradans can stop Prop 115. voteno115.com #NoOn115
The proponents of this initiative have been clear — they want to force a woman to continue a pregnancy with no exceptions for health or individual circumstances — even in cases of rape, risks to the woman’s health, or a lethal fetal diagnosis. #NoOn115
Coloradans have trusted patients, families, and physicians to make these decisions, not politicians. Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated voters have repeatedly rejected abortion bans at the ballot in the past. This is a fundamental CO value that crosses party lines. #NoOn115

This stuff ain’t easy or the most comfortable for lots of folks. It’s not always comfortable for me. I’ve been hung up on many times, sometimes I feel awkward and ridiculous making calls, but then I help someone and I know there are thousands of others doing this work with me.
