So voter fraud was less common than being struck by lightning 3 TIMES! So Tories now only focus on crimes people don't commit? No focus on violent crime at all? Voter ID puts off voters also coz if you're rushing too/from work or collecting children-it's 1 more thing to forget.

I don't hold with the agist generalisations as a rule but it is, up to now, a fact that right wing's biggest percentage support consistently comes from pensioners+ they are the demographic most likely to make a special trip to vote+have the time to comply with any restrictions.
This is quite an anti-Tory angle generally so it's either a recognition they'll get voted out without it; a deliberate distraction from #Corruption protest bills+lack of Social care progress, or, worse, real ground work for the introduction of pay as you go health care!Be warned!
