Scientific proof that God exists.

Point 1: Einstein's theory of general relativity tells us that the universe is not eternal; it has/had a beginning.

Point 2: The law of causality: everything that came to be needs a cause.

Einstein knew that since the universe has a age...
that is, it had a beginning, then it must have a cause.

Point 3: The big bang theory tells us that space, time and matter happened at the exact same instant. That is, there was no space, no time, and no matter prior to the big bang.

Basically, the universe emerged out of...
nothing or nothingness.

Since it's impossible for the universe to create itself since it would need to exist in order to create itself (a cause can't come after its effect), then the universe was one BIG effect whose cause must therefore exist outside of time, space&matter...
with supreme intelligence, supreme power to create, supreme creativity. That Cause is who we call God.

Ps. 19:1-2: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge."

Glory to God!

A thread on Prayer, for believers. It will be a long thread. Please RT if this blesses you. Let's go.

What is prayer? A common cliche is that prayer is "talking WITH God." The idea is that it's not a one-way conversation, and that when praying, we should wait to hear what God...

In fact, the Bible tells us that prayer is a way to present our requests to God (Phil. 4:6). So, prayer...
is us talking to God.

Believers are called to both have a lifestyle of prayer (1 Thess. 5:17) and designated times for prayer (Matt. 26:44). We have to keep our lips connected to our heart at all times, that's our lifestyle. But we must also have a habit of actual and regular...
