At this thread i will go over my thoughts for armband ahead of the upcoming BGW and will highlight some differentials that could haul:

The main picks; Salah vs Kane
xGI (Actual GI) last 5:
4.91 (4) vs 4.92 (5)
xGc last 6 WBA vs WOL (Actual GC);
10.97 (11) vs 6.08 (9)
Both of them compete for the golden boot.
Liverpool might still have an outside shot of making it to the top 4 while Spurs are pretty much done.

Kane stats are insane and he is having the best season of his career so far in term of GI. Under Mason we have seen him drop deep in certain parts of the game but not nearly as much as early on under Jose. He is a great pick against bottom half teams, but...

Salah edges it out for me. WBA are playing for contracts at this point while Liverpool really have something to chase. The only think that put me off Salah is the fact that WBA are more vulnerable on their left side, but we will get to that.

Differentials; Mane vs Son vs DCL

4.58 (3) vs 3.36 (5) vs 4.45 (3)
xGc last 6 WBA vs WOL vs SHU (Actual GC);
10.97 (11) vs 6.08 (9) vs 11.56 (12)
Son is over-performing atm as both DCL and Mane are under-performing their expected data.

Mane is a very interesting differential both for the armband and for the run-in. He seems to be picking up some form and playing much better. WBA conceded 60 chances from their right flank and center, which is where we will find Mane & Jota or Bobby mostly.

Son is playing the football of his life atm. 10 double digit hauls in a season is just ridiculous. He is the best finisher in the league this season (+6.15 from xG) playing the 7th worse GK in the league in terms of save %. Explosive, not a huge punt - i like the shout.

DCL is a very good pick imo, but, he is simply not explosive enough for me to give him the armband. He has only 1 double digit haul since GW 10 and on-wards. He is a safe pick in my book, and if you go safe, Salah & Kane are simply more reliable.
