🔥🧵📰 Yesterday, Eanes Independent School District in Austin, TX had a board meeting to discuss DEI. Again, DEI is a codename for CRT. Courageous parents from diverse backgrounds rallied against intrusion of taxpayer-funded DEI in this top-tier district and called out the lies. 
2/ Eanes ISD hired DEI consultant Mark Gooden of Columbia to conduct a survey on racism. His research design is unscientific, engulfing complex realities in a race-centric frame. His conclusion? "There was a race issue that made students of color feel excluded and/or unwelcomed."
3/ Feeling the need to distance his sales pitch from CRT, Gooden then proceeded to prescribe essentially CRT solutions to combat the "race issue". His pitch includes DEI-focused consultant, website, advisory committee, handbooks, focus groups and anti-racism. All market-oriented.
4/ Unimpressed by the trickery and over-the-top virtue signaling, concerned Eanes parents spoke up at the meeting against the top-down institution of DEI & CRT. Their opposition met tepid recognition from the board members, who enthusiastically embraced the crooked Gooden report.
5/ This is another example of the elitists-vs.-citizens conflict in the former's craze to institutionalize DEI, CRT, anti-racism, and illiberalism w. taxpayers' 💰 and w/o public consent. It is high time for concerned members to unite and push back. We need a national alliance.
6/ Success stories are starting to emerge, cue: the election of anti-CRT school board members in Southlake, TX, the rise of autonomous civic groups to challenge indoctrination, and state bills discouraging race essentialism. A synergy of sociocultural and legislative activities.
