Healthwise.
-My periods are stabilising and it seems my ovarian cysts are gone.
I still have to do a check up to confirm that PCOS has fled from me.
-In a healthier and more stable state of mind than I've been for the past three years.
-My hair is healthier too.
Work wise.
-New job as an editor.
-New freelance role with Document Women which is a dream come true if I do say so myself.
By the way in all of this I've not done NYSC and I think it is a heavy flex that points to my ability to pull in favours and wealth.
-More referrals too.
Relationship wise.
-I'm finally letting go of friends I lost last year.
No longer as angry as I was and sometimes I actually find myself praying for even those who have cursed me out on here.
2020 Angel will be laughing at me right now but we move.
Some people are for a
season yes but that season being over does not mean they are inherently bad.
-My parents and I are getting cooler. We've always been cool but me coming out and some other stuff almost rocked our relationship.
Anyway, I'm still in their house and they like to broadcast my wins.
Lastly, I'm finding God for myself again.
The past three years really shook my faith but I'm trying to at least be at peace in my faith.
I may not agree with everything but I like that I've getting to a point where I'm not as antagonistic towards Christians as I was.
Fun fact: My last boyfriend was Christian.
One of the sweetest souls I've had the privilege of encountering.
A tech bro who is also very very hardworking.
Anyway, he made my December and January nice and was quite supportive.
We've broken up but we are pretty cool.

I'm 22.
Honestly most of my flexes can't fit into one quote.
Anyway,
-I graduated at 21 with a degree in English last year from Babcock University.
-I was top five in my department.
-At 19, I co-founded @AsEqualsAfrica
as a way of providing a safe space for female creatives.
-At 19 too, I interned with @Wimbiz as a comms intern.
-That year too, I protested at the We Will Not Be Silent Lagos protests on gender based violence.
-Still that year, I was made the Vice President of my department in school.
-I also got invited that year to panels with TEAW
and WWNBS.
-At 19, lest I forget I got published with @akereview and @TGLMtweets.
Most of what I was writing revolved around sex and gender roles.
-At 20, I created the #SayHerNameNigeria hashtag to speak on the dehumanization of women by the Nigerian police.
There is hardly anything empowering about sex work.
Know it and know peace.
There is hardly any difference between paying a woman's brideprice to her father and paying an often trafficked woman money of which most goes to her pimps.
Know it and know peace.
You can't speak against bride price as an African Feminist under the pretext of "Women's bodies are not commodities to be exploited".
You cannot speak against bride price as an AfriFeminist knowing fully well putting money on women's bodies excuses men for marital rape.
You cannot speak against bride price as an African Feminist but turn around and support sex work.
Know it and know peace.
You cannot speak against bride price as an African Feminist knowing fully well how bride price lists mirror slavery and the making of women as property.
