One of the most noticeable things about the Glem-Taibbi axis is just how big of cowards they actually are. They will rant endlessly on a subject, with name-calling, tone-policing & accusations and then when asked a simple question about the heart of the matter, just turtle away. 
Matt never responded to the senator's very basic, straightforward question. But of course right after he had time to nutpick at some guy w 10 followers. That guy got a response. B/c he's a coward and knows that he can't say what he actually believes bc he'll really show his ass.
Glenn does the same. All throughout the Russia Stuff, which, it's safe to say, nobody talked about more than him, Glenn would be asked to state basic beliefs ("Did Russia interfere in the election?" "Do you want Donald Trump to win?") and he would just never answer.
It's pretty easy to deduce what Taibbi & Glem are thinking by who/what they defend/attack but their cowardice in stating what they actually believe, as they lampoon others for being 'hysterical conspiracy theorists' is really glaring.
It's the exact same thing Glem is doing right now with the Liz Cheney stuff. Endless tweets tone-policing & mocking people who agree with her/say something positive, but not a single tweet engaging the issue at hand. Does Glem believe the election was stolen from Donald J Trump?
Does Glem believe that the entire GOP pledging an anti-democratic loyalty test is a good thing? I mean, we can certainly guess, but it's been weeks of this and his stance on the actual issue is just non-existent. I guess that's one way to do bold, adversarial journalism.
