continuing my broader policy of never giving politicians any credit for anything

all praise is deserved by the people who actually got out in the street and thus pushed the squishy libs into a corner

think the downside here is that a lot of people are going to suck themselves off about Scottish values etc for having been effectively railroaded into doing the right thing

I can admit it’s a little bit of sour grapes because the important thing is the right thing getting done, but I expect to roll my eyes at some posts

in the meantime I guess all we can do now is to try our best to do the same for our neighbours

I almost feel bad for Police Scotland who are about to have both Westminster and Holyrood trying to lean on them in opposite directions

and for myself personally even though this is an unambiguous good I am finding it hard to take much joy in it, but I think that’s just because every time I try some new Palestine thing shows up on my phone and rips it back off me again
