As Nick is saying, high-res satellite imagery has repeatedly allowed open source investigators to hold the powerful to account and to establish verifiable facts. I agree: it isn't acceptable that most services continue to deliberately degrade imagery of Palestine.
Here's @Zena_Agha's article once again, because it's important: an obscure US law concealed satellite imagery of Israel's activities in the Occupied Territories. But that's reversed now — so time to use it to defend Palestinians' human rights. foreignpolicy.com/2020/08/03/isr…
So, for reference, this kind of high-resolution satellite imagery is rare to see. Hopefully that'll change.
And to get a sense of how the degraded imagery looks like, see these examples from @AricToler and @obretix — or go to any of the mapping services with satellite imagery yourself (Google, Apple, HERE etc.)

Our first ride was in a (in the Netherlands well-known) bakfiets. It brought us from the city center (where we said goodbye to our loved ones) to the best hitchhiking spot in town toward Germany.

The first car to stop for our destination “Cape Town (no joke)” cart board sign was this Mercedes. She saw our sign, stopped, and was like, “I can take these three kids“ as she was on her way home to Winschoten.

Satellite imagery of Ndjamena reveals the heightened state of alert in the Chadian capital after President Idriss Deby was killed whe commanding troops at the front on April 20. 🛰️📸: @Maxar (google.com/maps/@12.11039…)
The death of Déby, who ruled the country with an iron fist for three decades, comes barely a week after FACT rebels crossed from Libya into Chad. One of their shells apparently exploded near Déby's vehicle. More by @declanwalsh/@AdamouNdjam/@ElianPeltier: nytimes.com/2021/04/22/wor…
The FACT (Front for Change and Concord) rebels threatened to march on Ndjamena this weekend. Whether they can deliver on that threat is unclear: Chadian Army claim heavy rebel losses and foreign officials are unsure how far they are from the capital.

A new Russian Army camp was set up in the Voronezh region bordering Ukraine, @CITeam_en reports. While the Russian Ministry of Defense did announce military exercises along the border, these satellite images of the known Pogonovo training ground are worth pointing out amid heightened tensions between Russia and and Ukraine.
An Iskander is among the military vehicles deployed to Voronezh, Janes has established. While their analyst believes the troop movements are not offensive in its nature, the sighting of this short-range ballistic missile system is “significant,” he says.

Islamic State's Central Africa Province (ISCAP) has claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming they killed more than 55 “members of the Mozambican army and the Christians, including nationals of Crusader states” in clashes that lasted for three days. Via @heytherehaIey.

Jessica Watkins was charged with conspiracy for her role in the Capitol attack, alongside other Oath Keepers in military-style garb. New footage shows Watkins (and others linked to the group) pushing against riot police on Jan. 6, contradicting claims by her defense counsel.
The mob which includes the Oath Keepers is trying to get past the police toward the Senate Chamber. “Get in there! They can’t hold us,” Watkins is heard shouting in this @ParlerVideos first found by @CTExposers. You can see the ‘medic’ patch on her helmet. “Push! Push! Push!”
