Me, a decade ago living with my parents: "Of course tenants should have rights. Landlords are scum"
Me now, having helped my 4 foot tall landlady evict wife-beaters, drug addicts, & Ethiopians: "She should have the right to have us executed at any time for any reason"
I never really understood why our ancestors were so reluctant to abandon blood feuds until you spent 4 hours at a tenant dispute resolution agency trying to make a clerk understand that the guy she gave leave notice a year ago for doing hard drugs should be physically removed.
"Is he a physical danger to any of the residents?"
"He does meth and he leaves the door and ground floor windows open all day, so we keep having mouse infestations."
"But has he threatened one of you?"
🤪
Where is this magical place the 🏴s are always ranting about where landlords can violate tenants' human rights with impunity? I've seen the alternative and I want to live there.

Remember: ALL journalism is sophistical. Not "liberal," or "conservative," or "controlled" journalism; ALL of it. Keep this in mind even and *especially* when journos happen to be right for whatever reason.
The reason that other journos hate Greenwald is that he's bought into the journo ideology so much that he's open about what it is. He doesn't even concive that normal people would be fundamentally revolted by the essence of his profession, like his less dramatic colleagues.
It's the same reason other gangsters disliked Al Capone. Was he doing anything differently? Not really, but he didn't give a fuck if normal people knew what exactly that was. "Hey," Greenwald says, "of course journalism isn't about truth. What're you, retarded ? 😂"
It's funny how I was never a Marxist even when I was in the left, but I learned what "Malthusianism" means in Marxism better than @mrsmcgee16's critics. (from EMJ's "Libido Dominandi," wrt Alexandra Kollontai's drive to legalize abortion and the anti-Malthusians who fought it)
Stalinists: "So, if human labour is the source of value, how could there ever be "unnecessary" people in a socialist polity?"
Abortionist and euthanasist 🏴s: "Because I hate my parents and love casual sex."
And damn, she's gone again. Aimee Terese and Orcbrand should start a "Jack's most wanted" gang.
Once you understand this, the correct question to here isn't "why do you think a blog post will inspire murders?" but "what, exactly, do the people who pay you get out of you believing this story?"
Well, that and "how many women have you raped?" since he's a male feminist.
.@KatzOnEarth, of course, can't understand the substance of Tracey's critique. As a journalist, he can conceive of a separation between the concepts of writing, propaganda, and emotional manipulation no more than a Roman pleb could conceive of a separation between church & state.
Every day I learn a new reason to hate this country.
Most people know about Canada inventing multiculturalism and spreading our shitty musicians, but there's a whole hidden substrate of ways we've made the world worse.
And, while I'm at it, reposting this from the Telegram where I quoted a (since changed 🤔) wiki article explaining how Canada is responsible for Mindgeek, the porn industry's equivalent to Standard Oil.
One of the things you don't realize until you have to research the genealogy of superhero stories is how literally all of American pop culture is descended from the Barsoom series. John Carter of Mars should unironically be taught in English classes.
It's weird because you'd think (like I did, going in) that Superman would've been mostly a take on Doc Savage. (The "man of tomorrow/man of bronze" epithets alone...) but no, almost everything derives from John Carter. (albeit indirectly through Flash Gordon in some cases)
And not just sci-fi and capeshit. For example: Burroughs has a good case to make for having invented what's basically the "orc" fantasy archetype with the Green Martians. He's at Marie Corelli magnitudes of influence, but barely any more people know about it. Surreal.
