Toney > Smith IMO because of versatility (WR, RB, QB, returner). I think Toney's game translates better into NFL. His footwork is game changing in both long AND short game. Smith doesn't have that dimension. Smith more acrobatic but I'll take incredible footwork over that in NFL.
Toney compliments the #Giants better than Smith would. He adds dimensions that Smith would not to team. Other teams will have to account for Toney like they must account for Barkely. That will be too much for Ds to handle giving other Giants playmakers opportunities.
And to think we got Toney plus Bear's Ist and 4th round pick next year (plus 5th this year). I think this trade will be one #Giants fans talk about for generations. I think Toney adds Tyrek Hill-like potential and that's a extremely rare commodity in NFL.
