Since we’re all digital artists now, I wanted to share some of my favorite techniques that I apply to my illustrations. These were done in Procreate, but I’ve added keywords so you can find if they’re applicable in your favorite art program, but I know they work in CSP & PS. (1/)
Art tip #2: Foliage and custom brushes 🌿 (2)
Art tip #3: How I color my lineart (3/)
Art tip #4: I made this last year, but Color Theory is always relevant (4/)
Art tip #5: A more in depth foliage guide from last year. This piece basically makes use of all the tips above.

Shoutout again to
@madeleineink’s brushes for being a lifesaver ✨ (5/)
That’s it for now. Thanks for looking! I plan to make more guides in the future, like how to draw framings like I did in these drawings 🙏

Small guide on how I apply color theory to my paintings and illustrations ✨
And some other tips!

For the record tho my process is not as structured as it looks. It's all mostly in my mind and I'm still always learning. But if you practice enough, color theory may become second nature.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback!

There are a lot of useful resources online like color palette generators, but learning the basics and the relationship of colors can be fun and rewarding.

Here's my favorite video on color theory:
