Ukuphahla is performed when one wants to connect & communicate with his/her Ancestors in the spiritual realms, like ethongweni, esinyanyeni, esithunyweni. Ukuphahla is not a worship but a spiritual connection with other spiritual realms.

& rule our lives. We do this when we are facing times of trouble & sorrow. We do this when we are happy & expressing gratitude to our maker. We pray for directions in life situations & to many different things that we experience in this world.🙏
