1. Leads from my Site in Market A (Vancouver WA)
2. Internal website in Market B (Portland OR)

Client’s Request:
Build 2nd lead generation site in Market B (Portland OR)
Why Did I Propose Taking over His Website vs Building Another Lead Generation Site?

FIRST: What does Client actually Want?

ANSWER: Leads from Portland, as soon as possible
2 Reasons Why A Takeover is Better:

1.It takes a lot of time & effort to build a new website (I don’t like high time & effort)

2.It takes longer time for new site to rank (Client doesn’t like slow results)
Why this Worked

Clear on Client’s Goal & Current Facts:

1.Client currently gets lead from my Site in Market A
2.Client wants leads from Market B.
3.Client asks for a new lead generation site in Market B
4.Client has website in Market B Generating minimal traffic
End Goal = Generate client traffic in Market B

Path of Least Resistance = Improve existing website
Why is this better?

Two Simple Reasons:
1.I don’t have to build a brand new site (less work is good)
2.Client's existing website, tho generating minimal traffic, has Google age credibility (I like credibility).
Why the Proposal Worked

1.Client gets needs met (Leads from Portland)
2.Client trusts me from previous work experience
3 Takeaways

1. It’s much easier to increase revenue from existing channels
2. Find PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE & TARGET 1st
3. Don’t worry about adding every detail, clients rarely care

BONUS: only sell to owners who share name (lol jk, but can’t hurt ,MF Mikes stick together😉)
